How to find the apartment

From the 'Charles de Gaulle'  Airport

You can always take a taxi, but the fastest and least expensive option is the RER line B.  The trains, from the 'Réseau Express Régional' leave regularly from the airport and they all stop automatically at the 'Gare du Nord' train station.

For more information, see the Roissy Charles de Gaulle website.

From the "Orly" Airport

With 'OrylVal' : this shuttle bus joins the RER line B at 'Antony' station. It takes 23 to 28 minutes to reach the 'Gare du Nord' station, plus 8 minutes in the shuttle.

For more information, see the Orly website, or www.orlyval.com.

Parking in Paris can be very difficult:

In the street: It is possible to park for free at night-time (from 7pm to 9am) and Sundays, as well as on public holidays and during the month of August, in certain streets which have parking meters displaying a yellow spot (especially around the 'Saint-Vincent de Paul' church).

Otherwise: it costs 3 € per hour with a limit of 2 hours and you will need to buy a 'Paris Carte' in tabacco shops (10 to 30 €).

Another possibility: there are underground parking lots, which are monitored (7 days per week) and indicated by a white 'P' on a blue background, you will find them at the 'Gare du Nord', 'Franz Listz' square and in front of the 'Lariboisière' hospital. Other parking lots can be found using www.parkingsdeparis.com.
